About Amy

Amy Asherah (formerly Amy Mevorach) is a writing and literature instructor at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education. Her essays and fiction have been published or are forthcoming in CALYX Journal, Boulevard Magazine, The New York Times, Glimmer Train Stories, and Review: Literature of the Americas.

The film of her poem, “Eight,” directed by Roger Ingraham, won “Best Experimental Short” and “Programmer’s Selection” at the 2021 Faithfest Film Festival and was selected as a nominee in the 2022 Canadian International Faith and Family Film Festival.
